At North Rockhampton High School we believe that the capacity for:
are uniquely human attributes for young people.
We aim to provide a balance of academic, sporting and cultural opportunities for our young people to support and enhance their talents and potentials. We aim to promote and inspire a passion for life-long learning.
Our educational priorities for all our young people are to develop reading comprehension, academic writing, an ability to give and receive feedback for self-reflection and growth, higher order thinking skills, good manners and a mastering of e-learning skills for the 21st century learner. We aim to see distance travelled forward, no matter where students start on the academic ladder. All students are required to exit school with a sound work ethic, Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and/or Overall Position (OP) and/or a Certificate 2.
