Year 12 Graduation

On Thursday 19 November, Year 12 Seniors celebrated their graduation day with their families, friends and staff in the school hall.

It was a bittersweet occasion as students reminisced about their school history together and looked ahead to the new challenges they are eager to embrace.

Greta Doherty, Year 12 coordinator, acknowledged what a great group of students they are, and praised them for their help and support throughout the year.

Mr Neil Fisher, Rockhampton City Councillor, gave advice including quotes from Dr Seuss and presented each student with a Rockhampton Regional Council pen.

A wonderful rendition of the Beatles “Oh-Bla-Di, Oh-Bla- Da” was played by our Year 12 string quartet and conducted by Mrs Robyn Everitt.

This year’s seniors paraded out of the hall to beautiful sounds of the school string ensemble.
