Congratulations Isobel

14/11/2014

Earlier this year, Isobel Brosnan responded to an advertisement on school notices about the opportunity of a Certificate III in Aged Care School Based Traineeship with Mercy Aged Care. She submitted her resume, attended an information session held at School to Jobs Alliance (S2J) and hasn’t looked back. During her interview for the Traineeship, Isobel impressed Mercy Aged Care with her enthusiasm and work ethic.

Isobel started her traineeship in May and will have completed her Certificate III qualification within 10 months from starting. This is an amazing effort. Isobel has found what she wants to do in life and she is excelling.

Isobel has been amazed at all the support she has received from North Rockhampton High School, Mercy Aged Care and National College. They have all worked together to assist her as she has progressed through her Certificate III qualification.

North Rockhampton High is very proud to have Isobel as one of our students and we are happy to be awarding her with the Year 10 School Based Traineeship Award at our Awards Night on November 17. Isobel will be presented with her Certificate by Traci Gilbett from Mercy Aged Care.

Her supervisor, Traci Giblett, at Mercy Aged Care recently sent feedback to the school on how she has been performing in the work place.

All the feedback I have received from Care Staff, Relatives, Residents, Registered Staff and Administration staff is that Isobel is a breath of fresh air and a wonderful young lady.

The respect she displays and her professionalism is beyond her years and experience.

Isobel works very hard, and nothing is too much trouble. She is punctual, well behaved, polite, flexible and willing to learn. Isobel is a credit to your school and her parents. Traci Giblett
