CQUniversity Experience

On Thursday 9th March, thirty Year 12 students made their way to our local Central Queensland University for a taste of what it is like studying in this educational setting. Most schools in this region sent aspiring students and what a great opportunity this proved to be! The aim of the program and the structure of the day was presented by The Vice Chancellor and each participant had a personalised timetable. All students spent two sessions in a Faculty of their choice ensuring that they gained an insight into the modules and understanding of each subject. I thoroughly enjoyed Accident Forensics, where we analysed an accident scene and many questions were asked! Medical Science was brilliant where we tested our blood type. Many students benefited from this experience and have formalised their intention for further study. This was a day of opportunity and all students were invigorated by this experience.
