ENGLISH FACULTY

English is a core subject at North Rockhampton High School and as such must be studied for the full six semesters in the Junior School and for four semesters in the Senior School.

The purpose of English in the Junior School is to provide all students with the communication and comprehension skills to succeed in society and to prepare them for Senior English and beyond.

The English course in the Senior School is also designed to develop students’ participation in life-long learning as active citizens shaping the future.
